What you’re buying (Digital Content)
PlanYour.Date offers virtual products (e.g., digital date guides, itineraries, planners). These products are intangible and delivered immediately upon successful payment.
Cooling-off & Immediate Delivery
Due to the nature of digital products, we do not offer refunds once a purchase is completed and the content has been accessed or downloaded.
By accepting our immediate delivery during checkout, you acknowledge that you lose your 14-day statutory right of withdrawal (cooling-off period) under EU consumer law once the digital content is made available to you.
Our Discretionary Refunds (Goodwill)
Outside of statutory obligations, we may consider a refund on a case-by-case basis in these specific situations (subject to verification):
- Duplicate purchase of the exact same product/guide in the same account by accident.
- Non-delivery caused by a technical failure on our website.
- Confirmed corrupt file/link that we cannot resolve within a reasonable time.
Non-Refundable Situations
We strictly do not provide refunds for:
- Change of mind: You no longer want the virtual product after purchasing.
- Subjective dissatisfaction: The planned date did not go as expected, or you did not like the venues/activities recommended in the guide.
- Incomplete reading: Failing to read the product description before purchase.
- Third-party issues: Venues mentioned in the guide being closed, fully booked, or changing their prices.
How to request a refund
If you believe you qualify for a goodwill or technical refund:
- Contact us at help.planyourdate@gmail.com within 14 days of purchase.
- Include your Order ID, account email, and product name.
- Provide a brief explanation of the issue and proof (e.g., screenshots of technical errors).
Processing Refunds
If approved, refunds will be processed to the original payment method and may take 5–10 business days to appear on your statement. Upon refund, your access to the virtual product will be revoked.
Abuse Prevention
We track account access logs. Claiming non-delivery when our logs show the product was accessed/downloaded will result in the refusal of the refund. Repeated abusive claims may lead to an account ban.
